The CSC Europe EEIG is the legal and management
organisation of the CSC Europe Platform. The CSC Europe staff
manages the coherence and the further unfolding of the network,
organising meetings and assemblies, attracting new organisational
members in further countries, developing strategic projects
and new services. The full EEIG members are the legal, financial
and strategic backbone of the CSC Europe Platform on the basis
of the EEIG contract and its bylaws. They decide upon selection
of members and membership fees to ensure the coverage of operating
costs. Currently the EEIG has four registered members.
The EEIG may enter into co-operation relationships with other
persons or organisations resident or having their central administration
outside a Member State of the European Community. Such persons
or organisations shall not be considered as full members but
may acquire the status of "associate members". The
methods and content of co-operation relationships with such
associated members shall be laid down by the full members acting
collectively and unanimously. The associated members do not
have the right to vote and do not have any obligations of liability.
