The CSC Europe Collaborative Platform is a community network
to distribute information, discuss content related topics and
offer services in field of electronic content engineering, data
service provision, project management and collection management
systems.
The CSC Europe Platform Community is the general network and
market place which involves all organisations and individuals
being members or associated with CSC Europe Platform. Platform
members may take advantage of a virtual dialogue platform to
discuss content related topics, project proposals, events etc.
Experiences, information resources and results of discussions
are all accessible on the platform. |

All platform partners are invited and supported to contribute
to the annual action-plan of the CSC Europe platform and the
national platforms in each country, and to become members in
the CSC Europe EEIG (if eligible).
The CSC Europe platform has been set up to reach the whole range
of relevant stakeholders, initiatives, projects, organisations
and institutions that share the aims of the CSC Europe network,
from local to global level. |

| CSC Europe Platform membership is currently 150 € per
year, including access to the password protected community space
with its services, reduced access to seminars and training courses
(2 seminars per year for free). Support in project and conference
planning. |

| There is the possibility to obtain a free trial membership
for one month. |
| |
The registration procedure allows almost immediate access
to the password-protected virtual community platform and its
various services on the Internet.
The annual fee should be affordable for everybody who is interested.

Registration on the platform automatically creates the membership
in the CSC Europe Platform for one year.
Access to the Virtual Community Platform guarantees the direct
participation of all platform members in discussion groups and
consultation processes regarding lobbying actitivies. Platform
members are represented in the general assembly by their National
Node (or if still lacking directly by the European Group of
Coordinators). They can also request participation in meetings
of the EEIG as observers or consultants. |
